Age limits for course?

Open to all age groups under 18s should be accompanied by an adult throughout the duration of the class.

Can I order more specific items from the shop based on my specifications?

Yes, all our products are bespoke one-of-a-kind pieces, please contact us with your idea and we will endeavor to make it a reality for you.

 

Please note the photos on the website are intended as a guide only, due to the variations in grain and the colour patterns of natural wood each individual piece will be different, please contact us to ensure the items are in stock and they meet your requirements.

What is the start and end times for a course each day?

Classes can be organised on a one-to-one basis, or you can join a group class, these small group classes usually run Friday and Saturday mornings 10.30am-1.00pm.

Can I personally keep the items I make from the course/class.

Yes, you can keep the items you make, all materials are supplied unless specified otherwise, (specialty timbers or large items etc.)

What do I need to wear during the classes?

Safety glasses or face visors with dust masks will be provided, we recommend you wear warm clothes in the wintertime (trousers or jeans with sturdy boots/shoes) Please feel free to bring your own dust mask, turning smock and visor if you have one. Long hair should be tied back, and jewelry removed before operating any machinery.

Is lunch provided during the course?

No, as most classes are 2.5hrs long lunch is not provided, however tea and refreshments are provided. please let us know of any dietary requirements.

What do I need to bring?

Due to the nature of the work please wear clothes you won’t mind getting dusty & sturdy boots/shoes. Please feel free to bring your own dust mask, turning smock, visor or goggles if you prefer.
